Lance ended a tricky Sunday in Spielberg in 13th position.

Lining up in 12th position on the Medium Pirelli tyres, Lance made up one place due to a collision ahead between Sergio Perez and George Russell.

The Canadian made up a further seven places into fourth as he ran a long opening stint on the same tyres, before pitting to switch onto the Hard compound on lap 29 of the 71-lap race, re-joining in 15th.

Lance battled against the Haas cars of Mick Schumacher and Kevin Magnussen for the final point-scoring positions but was forced to pit for a second time on lap 48 for another set of Medium tyres and re-emerged back in 15th.

There was a late Virtual Safety Car on lap 58 as Carlos Sainz stopped on track, but was withdrawn two laps later when the car was safely removed.

Running in 14th place, Lance was able to progress into 13th after passing Pierre Gasly.

At the chequered flag, Lance ended the race in 13th position.
