Lance and the team began FP1 on the C6 tyre, this weekend’s Soft compound. However, an incident put an end to Lance’s running.
Throughout FP2 and FP3, Lance gathered data across the Medium and Soft compounds, getting comfortable with the tricky street circuit.
The streets of Monaco ramped up throughout Qualifying, resulting in faster times as the session went on.
Towards the end of Q1, Lance was on a fast lap, but a Yellow Flag after a crash for Kimi Antonelli put an end to Lance’s lap and resulted in him being unable to progress through to Q2.
A mandatory two pit stops rule was implemented for the Monaco Grand Prix.
Lance began from P19 on the Hard tyre but gained places in the opening laps after drivers ahead made the first of their pits.
At the end of Lap 17, Lance made his first pit stop for a fresh set of Hards. He made his second stop at the end of Lap 66, switching to Mediums for his final stint.
Ultimately, Lance concluded the race in P15.
His season will continue on 30 May - 1 June with the Spanish Grand Prix.
Lance Stroll, Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team, said:
"It's Monaco, so when you have a tough Saturday, you know Sunday will always be a challenge. It was always going to be tricky starting from the back of the grid and it was not an exciting race with very few opportunities that could help us gain more positions today.
"We now turn the page and focus on Barcelona in a week's time."
