Mixed conditions in the Ardennes

Rain hit the track before the Grand Prix, creating wet conditions.

As a result of pit lane starts for several drivers, Lance started the Belgian Grand Prix in P16.

Due to continued rainfall, the start was delayed by over an hour. Once the rain had stopped and the track was clearer, the race got underway with Lance on the Intermediate tyre.

The track dried substantially, and by the end of Lap 12, Lance came into the pits for dry tyres. He opted for the Medium compound.

Around the midpoint of the race, Lance was looking to climb higher in the positions and made a number of strong overtakes on those around him.

Choosing to stay on the Medium tyre until the end of the Grand Prix, Lance concluded the race in P14.

Lance Stroll, Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team, said:

"It's been a tough weekend for us. We did what we could and it was probably the most we could achieve today. We made all the right strategy calls during the race but ultimately we want to finish in the points. I'm now looking forward to Budapest in a week's time, it's a very different track and hopefully there will be more opportunities for us."
